Artists International Auditions in New York, Krystof
Witek appeared in sold-out recitals at Carnegie's Weill
Recital Hall. Mr. Witek has appeared as soloist and
chamber musician throughout Europe, Canada, Japan and the
United States. He has appeared as concertmaster and
soloist with many ensembles, including the Greenwich
Symphony Orchestra, the New Choral Society of
Westchester, Stamford Symphony and the New York Symphonic
Ensemble. For several years, he has served as a principal
member of the Greenwich Chamber Players. As an avid
freelancer, Mr. Witek has performed with groups such as
the Little Orchestra Society, the New York Chamber
Symphony, the Mostly Mozart Orchestra, and the New York
Pops. He has also performed in many Broadway productions
and is currently a member of The Lion King orchestra. Mr.
Witek is co-founder of the Forest Hills Chamber Players,
the Ensemble-in-Residence at the Queens Museum of Art in
New York City. His solo CD features works of Beethoven,
Brahms and Lutoslawski. He was born in Poland and studied
at the Juilliard School with Joseph Fuchs, where he
received his Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degrees. |
