Hailed for her expressive musicality and creativity by The New York Times, Harpist Lisa Tannebaum has performed solo, chamber and orchestral repertoire at major venues and festivals throughout Europe and the United States. Critics praised her “formidable talent and depth” at her recent concerto appearance with the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ms. Tannebaum performed her Carnegie Hall debut under the auspices of Artists International and has been featured on Kansas Public Television’s “The Conductor’s Corner” and on Channel 25 TV “Meet the Artist” series in New York. She is a founding member of the Aurora Duo and Duo Impromptu. Currently she plays as principal harpist with the Canta Libre Chamber Ensemble. Ms. Tannebaum has played under the baton of many respected conductors including Maestros James DePriest, Sergio Commisiona and Gunther Schuller. As an advocate of contemporary music, she has performed as principal harpist with Crosstown Ensemble, X Ensemble and has worked with composers Judith Sante and John Corigliano.

She has recorded three CDs with Peter Pan Records and has a solo CD forthcoming.

Ms. Tannebaum has appeared on Broadway and toured with the shows “Peter Pan”, “42nd Street”, “Bernadette Peters Live”, “The Fantasticks” and the famed New York Sullivan Street Theater.
