As a mixed media artist I
use an array of materials -wood, plastic, cardboard,
polymer clay, paint, digital photographs, fabric. My work
is about gravity and the forces that exist between
people. How we connect with each other and the universe.
I use images of flight and tumbling. They may be
experienced as joyous. They may be experienced as
perilous. My process involves taking a personal image,
transforming it by degrees and putting it in some
metaphorical space.
I have lived in Stamford. Ct. for over twenty years and
work in a studio at my home. Most recently my work has
been exhibited at galleries in Lake Placid, New York,
Stamford, CT, and Manhattan as well as a group show at
the United Nations.
