About the Event
Acclaimed as one of America's outstanding ensembles, the Manhattan based Cassatt String Quartet has performed throughout North America, Europe, and the Far East, and is a Treetops CMS all-time favorite. Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet, with Treetops CMS artistic director Oskar Espina Ruiz, will close our 14th season. “Mr. Espina Ruiz is a phenomenal clarinetist, a subtle and discreet virtuoso whose dynamic control matched that of the string quartet." (CVNC). James Lee III’s Clarinet Quintet is a four-movement work inspired by historical aspects of indigenous Americans, including a dance celebration of the lives represented in the various paintings of “An Emblem of America.”
